DINORAH NAHMENS

From a very young age she loved dance in all of its expressions. She began her studies in her native town of La Guaira, Venezuela. In grade school she carried out diverse presentations representing her school in various competitions. After her primary and secondary schooling she entered Candy Jazz, the school that made her a dancer. Her artistic studies have allowed her to be trained by many famous and excellent teachers of dance in Venezuela (ballet, Jazz, Contemporary Dance) to name a few: Candy Machado, Clemen Machado, Anita Vivas, Antonio Drija, Justine Soques, Vinicio Leira, Laura Prieto, Ma. Teresa Carrizo, Mario Ignizi, Julio Lamas, Carlos Nieves, Donna Smith, etc.
After graduating she started working professionally as a dancer; participating in Venezuelan TV shows, TV commercials, advertising events, appeared in my music videos, as well touring with many famous international and national artist such as Raphael, Gino Vanelli, Mariah Carey, La Toya Jackson, Divine, Elisa Rego, Franco de Vita, Yordano, Adrenalina Caribe, Menudo, Oscar D’León, Rudy La Scala, Vicky Carr, Ma. Conchita Alonso, Sergio Pérez, Urbanda, among others.
Parallel to this she developed great expertise as a television choreographer for a beauty pageant as well as choreographer to many Venezuelan artists such as Guaco, Los Adolescent’s, Carlos Puchi, Caché Orchestra, Cesar Monge Orchestra, Las Trapolinas, Generación Vital, Divine, Jarana, etc. She has also choreographed for several international artists such as Emmanuel and Paulina Rubio
Many years ago she started instructing classes in Latin Dance in various gyms in Broward and Dade County with exceptional responses as well as a large following from both Latinos and non Latinos.
